Dear Candidate,

I welcome you to the “Master of Business Administration in Accounting (MBA in Accounting)” program offered by the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. I know that studying for a postgraduate degree is one of the most important decisions you have made, and choosing the right program is vital for your professional career.

The aim of the “MBA in Accounting” program is to develop the skills you need to become a leader in the finance and accounting industry. This is accomplished by developing the strategic thinking and critical reasoning skills, in order to foster a new generation of executives capable of analyzing the corporate challenges and opportunities, and of formulating and implementing innovative and effective financial policies and strategies within a context of continuous change to meet stakeholder interests. Our rigorous and practical MBA in Accounting curriculum is delivered in a flexible 24 – 48 month format. Projects and teamwork are key issues to developing the skills you need to become a leader in the finance industry.

This program is designed for practicing financial and accounting executives aspiring to acquire all appropriate management skills and competencies to better position themselves for future advancement and success. The participants in the program are people who are looking to make advancement in their current career path, people who are looking to change industry or job function, and people who are looking to gain the entrepreneurial tools that will enable them to put their own business plan into practice.

You will acquire knowledge in a wide range of disciplines in financial accounting, managerial accounting, auditing accounting, accounting information systems, management and business strategy, human resource management, marketing management, corporate finance, portfolio management, etc.
